Birds amaze me – wind chill well below zero and they just don’t seem to get cold. It isn’t just the eagles, but so many just don’t seem to be bothered much by the extreme cold temps. Pretty awesome really!

This pair hangs out in this same tree in our yard on a regular basis. I hadn’t seen them in 2 weeks or so – therefore I assumed they headed down to southern Wis or Illinois – which is common. Apparently not!
