I was taking side/backroads as I usually do, this time following the east side of the Wisconsin River heading up from Rhinelander. River Rd. winds from Rhinelander up to Lake Tomahawk. I got lucky and saw this bobcat coming up the bank, crossing the bridge on the road, then heading back down to the bank on the other side. I jumped out of my truck and got a few shots of him as he heard me and took off fast. I find myself fortunate to get these. This is exactly why I NEVER drive anywhere up here with out my camera.
