Sunset on Little Pike Lake – Mercer, Wi.
Winter at East Port Marina is quite a bit different than the last shot I posted from pretty much this same exact spot.
Upstream, downstream, doesn’t matter – this paddleboat isn’t going anywhere in this frozen river.
Volcano Cove is what we called this little beach-up spot on Kawaguesaga Lake. Small broken tree stumps resemble tiny volcanoes scattered about.
Some shots of what lake life is like up in the Northwoods. People so much love their water time. This is on the big water of Minocqua, and Kawaguesaga.
There are a ton of cool lake side cottages, restaurants, and private water garages. I think I’ll take a slow ride around the lake this evening and get pics
A few shots from yesterday… The eagle is an immature bald eagle. These are very easy to confuse for a golden eagle.
Probably our favorite restaurant on the island. Looks fabulous at night. You can dock your boat right up and have a fine meal.
Went to Lake Superior yesterday (Day 5) and gulls were as active as ever, looking for a handout or whatever else they could scrape up. I figure they deserve
